Our clients in outpatient rehab programs are not required to stay overnight at the center. Valley Recovery Center East Bay is in-network with most insurance plans.
These two Outpatient Addiction Rehab Options are ideal for people who:
- Have completed residential (inpatient) treatment at our Sacramento rehab center; or,
- Those who require outpatient addiction recovery due to personal, work or school situations.
- Most insurance plans accepted; we are in-network with most insurance plans.
Valley Recovery Center – East Bay Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Required Attendance:
Minimum of 6 hours/day, 5 days/week.
Sometimes known as “day rehab,” the Valley Recovery Center East Bay Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) allows clients to benefit from the intensive support of a traditional addiction recovery treatment program – while spending evenings at home.
PHP allows clients access to therapy, counseling, and aftercare support for a minimum of six hours per day, five days per week. Customized treatment plans are developed for each client. Rehab services are tailored to meet each client’s unique treatment goals.
Rehab treatment can include family therapy, group therapy, and individual therapy; as well as any necessary medication management services. For those in search of a creative outlet to help process their feelings about the recovery journey – art or music therapy may also be included.
PHP is most appropriate for clients who cannot commit to a traditional inpatient addiction treatment program due to work, school, or family concerns.
However, since the Partial Hospitalization Program is less structured than residential rehab and more flexible, it is crucial that clients have a strong network of supportive friends and family who are actively involved in their recovery process.
Our caring and compassionate Valley Recovery Center staff brings decades of experience and training. We help clients understand addiction; and co-occurring disorders, such as anxiety and depression. We are dedicated to helping clients understand the nature of their disease and learn the tools necessary for a lasting recovery.
Valley Recovery Center – East Bay Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Required Weekly Attendance:
3 days/week, 3 hours/day; plus One Hour with Therapist
10 hours total
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at our Valley Recovery Center, East Bay location is designed to offer flexibility for our clients who must balance their recovery with work or school commitments. IOP groups are offered daily; morning, afternoon, and evening times are available.
Going far beyond the level of support offered in a traditional AA group, our Intensive Outpatient Program groups are led by Master’s level therapists with extensive experience supporting addiction recovery. The goal of our IOP program is to help each member learn to manage their behaviors, emotions, and thinking to prevent relapse from occurring.
Addiction is an isolating experience. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups play a critical role in the healing process. By sharing personal struggles with others who are also taking steps towards a clean and sober life, our clients learn that they are not alone. The peer support gives our clients the confidence needed to tackle the challenge of building a better future – clean and sober.
However, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is not right for everyone.
- Those still actively using drugs and alcohol require a higher level of care and may need supervised medical detox.
