New Start Recovery Solutions is a private rehab center with locations in northern California.

New Start Recovery Solutions locations in Northern California are available with same day placements for medical detox and dual diagnosis drug and alcohol rehab treatment. Our locations provide PTSD Dual Diagnosis treatment to veterans and active duty military; as well as civilians.

Our Concord CA dual diagnosis rehab center location is conveniently located in the East Bay; and the Bangor CA location is located in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful rural area in Butte County, near Oroville. Our Sacramento location is located on a peaceful semi rural 5 acre property. Our beautiful new Monterey location at 468 Pine Ave, Pacific Grove, CA is the public return of a Monterey historic home. The recent renovations have preserved the unique and historic architecture of the house – while modernizing the interior to accommodate expanded treatment programs and services. Up on the third floor you’ll be able to see the ocean and the famous Cannery Row.

Residential and outpatient addiction rehab treatment is available for substance abuse, drug abuse, alcohol use disorder, opioid abuse, heroin abuse and/or co-occurring psychological disorders such as PTSD, depression and more. Each patient is evaluated by New Start Recovery Solutions staff and receives a biopsychosocial assessment; and an individualized treatment plan.

Mindfulness Whole Person Addiction Recovery

We use Mindfulness Relapse Prevention and other whole person evidence-based therapies; including CBT, yoga, tai chi and more.

Both of our dual diagnosis treatment locations are open and accepting new clients.

VA Community Care Provider

New Start Recovery Solutions is an approved VA Community Care provider for residential PTSD Dual Diagnosis Treatment.

Veterans may be eligible for care through a provider in their local community, depending on their health care needs or circumstances; and if they meet specific eligibility criteria. Even if a Veteran is eligible for community care, they generally still have the option to receive care from a VA medical facility.

Last June, a landmark legislation known as the VA MISSION Act of 2018 made dramatic improvements in how Veterans can receive some aspects of health care.

In most cases, Veterans must receive approval from VA before receiving care from a community provider to avoid being billed for the care. VA staff members generally make all eligibility determinations for community care.
