Continuing Recovery Support and Growth
The New Start Recovery Solutions Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an important part of our Continuum of Care.
• Our Extended Care Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a structured clinical rehab program that addresses all aspects of recovery and building a healthy lifestyle.
• We use Conscious Recovery and the Eight Dimensions of Wellness model to facilitate whole person healing and growth.
• In our Partial Hospitalization Program, each client’s mental health and/or substance abuse issues are treated in a supportive clinical rehab setting.
• Patients who are transitioning from residential treatment benefit from the continuing support and treatment of a partial hospitalization setting.
• This includes our patients who have completed medical detox and our integrated dual diagnosis programs.

New Start Recovery Solutions
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Sometimes known as “day rehab,” the New Start Recovery Solutions Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides addiction recovery extended care.
Our PHP program allows patients to benefit from the intensive support of an addiction recovery treatment program – while spending evenings at home.
Our patients have access to therapy, counseling, and aftercare support for a minimum of six hours per day, five days per week. Customized treatment plans are developed for each client. Addiction recovery services are tailored to meet each client’s unique treatment goals.
The PHP program is most appropriate for clients who have completed our residential dual diagnosis rehab program. Or, those who cannot join our inpatient addiction treatment program due to work, school, or family concerns. Participants must have completed detox, be sober and be able to fully engage in ongoing therapy.
Since the Partial Hospitalization Program is less structured than residential rehab and more flexible, it is crucial that clients have a strong network of recovery support.

New Start Recovery Solutions
Extended Care Program
New Start Recovery Solutions Extended Care is an important element in our Continuum of Care. It crafted for those who have completed primary treatment; or are returning to treatment from a lapse in recovery.
Therapeutic treatment in extended care includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT and Mindfulness for Relapse Prevention. We provide holistic treatment and whole person growth with evidence based integrated therapies. This gives our patients a sturdy base from which to experience personal growth and thrive.
A major goal in our rehab treatment is to help clients resolve underlying traumas that drive substance abuse. We assist our patients in creating a personalized sobriety plan that works for them.

The 28-30 Day Addiction Rehab Program
Is a 28-30 day residential addiction rehab program long enough for full recovery?
In 2020, addiction recovery professionals increasingly believe that while a 28 day residential rehab stay is a good beginning for addiction recovery – the ‘traditional’ 28 Day Rehab stay is not long enough for most patients to experience full recovery.
A ‘one size fits all’ 28 Day Rehab treatment model does not address the individual needs of most patients. Each patient experiencing addiction is different and has unique personal challenges and circumstances.
In recent years the Minnesota Model has evolved to include outpatient care, and the 28-day inpatient stay has become more flexible. But the core ideas, developed more than 40 years ago when these were revolutionary concepts, remain at the heart of addiction treatment.

For most, the 28 day residential rehab program is the most immediately recognized model for addiction treatment.
However, the New Start Recovery Solutions continuum of care for patients is more flexible and based on individual needs. Our dual diagnosis residential rehab treatment is often recommended to be followed by our PHP Partial Hospitalization Program or IOP Intensive Outpatient Program.
